Our Story

Our hearts ache with the loss of Alex, a young man brimming with intelligence, a spirit of adventure, a deep kindness, and an unforgettable light. Perfecting his fly-tying and fishing the rivers was where he found much serenity and connection. He also realized his potential by earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at Dunwoody College of Technology and building a fulfilling career at Sleep Number. Seeing him embrace this second chance chapter was one of the greatest joys in life. We feel a deep responsibility to honor his memory by putting grief into action and continuing his fight in a different way – by doing good for others.
